I know I like feeling like that all the time, do you?
The High Energy Women Weekly Meeting is about finding humour in what you do.
Some of us are great starters, and less of us are good finishers. I want to set the record straight right away, we are never finished when it comes to our health. There is always something new or different that we would like to try or do, and why not, spice up life a bit and have some variety.
To Be More Active
I know, get moving on the treadmill, must lift some weights...... yes yes yes.... I know I need to do something active. But when do I have the 30 mintutes to be active and gain the benefits?
I would like to say just one thing: If you do not have 30 minutes to be active, then what do you have? Can you spare 10 ot 15 or even just 5 minutes?
If you think you can commit 5 minutes each day to some activity, it is better then none, and you are still receiving some benefit.
So, what are you waiting for? Be on the calls, get inspired by others will similar challenges and benefit from having a Wellness Coach on the line with you to ask question to.
To Eat More Nutrient Rich
We hear it all the time, must eat better, and Oh, I should not have eaten that, I ruined my diet today so might as well eat some more, and I will start tomorrow and not cheat.... and the list goes on.
Eating Nutrient Rich is a process and a way of life. Choosing to feed our bodies life enhancing fuel and energy is our choice. And, feeding our body self defeating foods is also our choice. ( Most of the time anyways). This does not mean you have to be a Vegan to get great benefits, this does not mean you cannot have any birthday cake, however it does mean, that you will need to fuel YOU well with lots of vegetables, fruits, legumes.
What does it take to eat well or not? Does it take longer to eat healthy? It might at the start, but all change takes more time, and doing this one step at a time will take time, and it will make the process feel easier, no pressure, and avoid the overwhelm.
To Be Well Rested
In the ideal world, we would always go to bed at the same time each night, get up at a similar time each morning without the alarm clock and feel full of energy and ready to start our day.
No, most of us do not live in that world!
So, what can we do? We can compromise somewhat by going to bed around the same time each night, slowly going to bed earlier to be able to get your 7 to 8 hours of sleep each night.
Feeling less tired as you get your needed sleep will boost your energy.
Some of us can put our head down or back in a chair for 10 to 15 minutes in the afternoon to rejuvenate ourselves, those are lucky and few and far between. If you are not able to do so, can you turn your mind off for a few minutes throughout the day?
You could close your eyes, breathe deeply for a few breaths, then go on about your day. Bringing in more oxygen deep in to your lungs is great for putting more oxygen in your body - less tired feeling is the benefit.
